What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Top 5 Reasons to Use SMS Marketing

Example of SMS marketing strategy showing a phone screen with fan replies like 'Miami please!!! ' to a message asking 'Which city should we add to the tour?' — illustrating the benefits of SMS marketing through interactive, real-time engagement.
This is some text inside of a div block.

Let’s be real – email inboxes are packed, social media algorithms are unpredictable, and most push notifications get swiped away without a second thought. So, how do you actually connect with your audience in a way that feels real and gets seen? Two words: SMS marketing.

Texting is one of the most powerful (and personal) ways to engage people directly, authentically, and, if done correctly, at scale. Whether you're building brand loyalty, a creator growing your fanbase, or a business looking to increase conversions, SMS offers something no other channel can: immediacy and intimacy.

Here are five reasons why SMS deserves a spot in your marketing strategy, and how a conversational engagement platform like Community makes it simple to get started.

1. SMS Is Instant and People Actually Read It

We’ve all skipped over an email,  swiped away an app notification or missed a social post buried in the scroll. But a text? That gets noticed.

Text messages have a 98% open rate, and over 90% are read within three minutes. That’s the kind of attention marketers dream about.

With Community, there’s no app to download or login required. You just send a message, and it lands directly on your audience’s native texting platform. It’s quick, easy, and feels like it belongs..

Instead of hoping your followers see your latest post, you can guarantee it lands where they’ll see it with a text:
"Hey [First Name], early access just dropped. Here’s your link 🎁 → [URL]"

And just like that, you’ve created a direct path to action.

2. SMS Is Built for Conversations - Not Broadcasting

Most marketing feels one-sided. You talk, maybe they listen. SMS flips that script. It’s built for two-way conversations,  so you’re not just talking at your audience, you’re talking with them.

With Community, it gets even better. You can cluster responses, segment audiences, and personalize your messages based on your audience’s interests and preferences. Your customers, fans and supporters don't just feel seen, they feel heard.

For example, a musician might ask fans, “Which city should we add to the tour?” and fans can reply with their location. A fitness brand might ask, “Which three colors should we drop next?” and let customers weigh in. It’s not just content. It’s conversation, and that makes all the difference.

3. Personalization at Scale (That Still Feels Personal)

Nobody wants to feel like just another contact on a list. SMS gives you the power to personalize at scale, without sounding like a robot or losing the human touch.

Community helps you send the right message to the right people—whether you’re segmenting by purchase history, location, or even something fun like a zodiac sign. Yes, really, one of our customers sends astrology-based updates, and her audience loves it. It’s real, relevant, and respectful of your audience’s time.

That kind of thoughtful personalization is exactly why SMS  outperforms other channels.

4. You Get Real-Time Feedback and Insights

SMS marketing isn’t just about pushing content. It's about listening, learning, and evolving in real time. Every reply, tap, or opt-in gives you insight into what your audience cares about.
Community helps you collect zero-party data, the kind of information people voluntarily share, like preferences, interests, or favorite topics. It’s not guesswork. It’s direct input, straight from your audience.

Pair that with first-party data (like click behavior), and you’ve got a full, real-time picture of your audience—and that helps you deliver smarter, more meaningful messages that actually land, and resonate.

5. No Algorithms. No Gatekeepers. Just Connection.

Unlike social media, where algorithms decide who sees your content, or email, where mass messages sent to a contact list are being unread, SMS gives you a direct line to your audience. No filter, no guesswork. You’re reaching people who want to hear from you, where they’re already paying attention: their phones.

And because the connection happens through your dedicated Community number, you’re not just sending messages, you’re building a lasting, reliable relationship. No middlemen. No rented audiences. Just real connections on your terms.

Say you’ve built a list of customers who RSVP’d to an event. You can follow up with reminders, behind-the-scenes updates, or VIP offers and know your message actually got through. That’s the power of texting with intent.

Ready to Rethink How You Connect?

SMS marketing isn’t the future, it’s already happening. It’s simple. It’s scales. And when it’s done right, it feels real, because it is.

If you're ready to build stronger relationships, drive real engagement, and finally cut through the digital noise, Community is here to help. We’ve helped hundreds of brands and creators do just that, one meaningful message at a time.
