What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Modern Manufacturing Needs Modern Communications

Someone managing a large piece of equipment looking at his cell phone demonstrating why SMS has to be part of industrial communication strategies
This is some text inside of a div block.

Why Industrial Communications Should Include Two-Way SMS Messaging

The industrial manufacturing sector is undergoing a seismic shift. As dealers, distributors, and membership groups grapple with digital transformation, one challenge rises above the rest: effective, scalable industrial communications. Manufacturers today are struggling to engage fragmented stakeholders, accelerate tool adoption, and gain meaningful insights across the ecosystem.

This is where Community, a two-way SMS messaging platform, comes in. More than just a tool for marketing alerts, Community offers manufacturers a direct line to drive real engagement, activate dealer networks, and boost ROI across every layer of the value chain.

The Shift: From Broadcast to Conversational Engagement

Traditionally, industrial manufacturers rely on emails, PDFs, outdated intranet pages and siloed portals to communicate across their network. But open rates are low, tool adoption is inconsistent, and end-user feedback is scarce. As margins tighten and expectations rise, industrial communications needs to be smarter. It can’t require another expensive, complex enterprise application.

Community transforms this approach by putting simple, mobile-first, two-way messaging in the hands of manufacturers, their partners and customers. No logins, no apps, just real conversations that drive action, all delivered to the phone they use every day.

Drive Tool Adoption with Zero Friction

As a business, you’ve already invested in CRMs, LMS platforms, partner portals and sales enablement tools in support of your field teams, but most of your field teams haven’t adopted the technology. Community becomes the adoption layer that drives usage of these tools.

Send a link via SMS to a training module and track clicks in real-time. Text a reminder for an upcoming product launch webinar and measure attendance. Launch a contest and watch dealer reps engage instantly with just a reply.

SMS breaks the friction barrier. No more chasing people through email chains or hoping they log into your portal. Instead, you meet them where they are – on their phones. If you’re not meeting them there, it’s possible you’re not meeting them at all.

Real Use Cases for the Industrial Ecosystem

Community's flexibility empowers manufacturers to solve specific pain points at every level of their ecosystem:

  • Manufacturers: Launch new products to dealers and customers, share training content, or drive contest participation by tiered dealer segments.
  • Employees: Streamline onboarding, training, and internal communications across locations. Text employees links to safety forms, training modules, policy updates, and events.
  • Dealers/Distributors: Receive segmented marketing materials, localized incentives, and instant access to parts or service info.
  • Membership Groups: Coordinate campaigns and syndicate content across complex manufacturers, dealers and reps, while maintaining data hierarchy integrity.
  • Event Teams: Use QR codes to drive pre-registration and real-time SMS follow-up with leads from trade shows. Pre-event you’re driving people to your booth, keynote or party. And post-event you’re instantly engaging with people you met at the event without clunky scanners or lost data.
  • Field Reps: Gain mobile-first access to new product information and quickly route leads to the right dealer.
  • End Customers: Receive warranty information, service reminders, loyalty rewards, and local dealer updates, all via SMS.

These aren’t just possibilities, they’re proven practices. This level of instant delivery and real engagement drives adoption of the tools and platforms you’ve already invested in that were built with good intentions but often get underutilized. But more importantly, this entire network of constituents feel supported, engaged and connected to your brand throughout every stage of the lifecycle.

Community helps you unlock the ROI that you’ve been chasing by meeting your people where they actually are – on their phones. Community customers experience 90+% open rate and 50+% click through rate, making it the most effective, highest value direct channel available to your marketing, sales, support and warranty teams. It’s not just communication, but connection that drives outcomes.

The Power of Direct Feedback from Your Ecosystem

What sets Community apart is its first-party data capture. Every message, every reply, every click is all structured and tied to real people, not just anonymous behavior. Through authentic, two-way conversations, manufacturers gather real-time insights on user behavior, preferences, interests and geography. Manufacturers can segment by location, roles, reps, purchasing behavior, and performance and use those insights to target more precisely, personalize more effectively, and build smarter, higher impact programs across the board. This enables hyperlocal lead routing, segmentation by dealer tier, and behavior-based follow-ups.

For example, a customer who responds to a recall notification can be instantly routed to the nearest certified dealer. A dealer rep who hasn’t opened recent content can be nudged with performance leaderboards and tailored support.

It’s actionable intelligence, collected organically, not through forms or portals.

Tangible Results for a High-Stakes Industry

With Community, Manufacturers can:

  • Increase dealer engagement and faster time-to-market for new products.
  • Get higher participation in training and incentive programs.
  • See stronger lead quality at events, thanks to real-time routing and geo-tagged responses.
  • Create a simplified communication strategy that cuts through noise and accelerates adoption.

And unlike traditional platforms that require technical lift, Community gets up and running in days, not months. That’s why it’s a smart move for industries that have lagged behind in digital transformation but are now ready to leap ahead.

As an industrial communications platform, Community offers industrial manufacturers a powerful, low-friction way to engage their entire ecosystem. It improves dealer performance, enhances customer loyalty, and maximizes your existing tech stack investments. With personalized two-way messaging and a strong data foundation, it's the connective tissue between your tools, your people, and your business outcomes. The result? Strong relationships, stronger results.

Why now? Because time is money, and the old way of doing things isn’t cutting it anymore. Industrial manufacturers are ready for this shift. Community is simple to deploy, easy to scale, and impossible to ignore. It’s mobile first, data smart and relationship driven.

It’s time for a revolution in manufacturing communications.  Modern manufacturing demands modern two way communications.
